Take online courses written from a Christian worldview that meet the graduation requirements with experienced BC-certified teachers. We offer every core subject for grades 10-12 with a great selection of electives.

We accept independent, public, and homeschool students from all across BC. Our courses are funded through the BC Ministry of Education, which means there is no additional cost to the student.

BC Online School is a division of Heritage Christian Online School and is under the independent school branch of the BC Ministry of Education. We are a distributed learning (DL) school for all current grade 10 to 12 students in British Columbia, Canada. Fee Details

  • Grade 8-9 StudentsClick for Information
  • Grade 10-12 Students (BC Residents, Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrants – No Cost (funded by the Ministry of Education in BC).
  • Free for students who are 19 and under based on Date of Birth.
  • Non–Graduated Adult Students (19 years or older) – No Cost (Funded through the Ministry of Education in BC)
  • Graduated Adult students, 19 and over are not funded and will have a course fee of $750 plus the cost of resources.
  • International students (residing in BC) – $750 per course plus the cost of resources (textbooks) if applicable.

Summer School

Summer school registration is now closed, you are welcome to sign up for first term.

Moodle Maintenance

Moodle will be closed from August 19th - September 2nd for maintenance. Students will not have access to courses during this time.


Grade 8 and 9 courses now being offered.

Current Grade 8 and 9 students who are BC residents, Canadian citizens or landed immigrants are partial funded through the Ministry of Education.

The fee per course is $200.00 which includes a library loan for any textbook that is required.

Students will be charged for textbooks that are not returned upon completion of course.

Final grades will be submitted to your registered school upon completion of course.

Please note: Students cannot take the same course at the same time from two different schools.
