Principles of Math 12
Description:
This Principles of Math 12 course was created from the ground-up for an online environment by certified math teachers. It's a hands-on, minds-on learning experience for all types of students. Auditory, visual and kinaesthetic learners will each have their learning styles uniquely engaged in each and every lesson.
Each lesson is comprised of an interactive flash video that allows students to participate at their own speed in the course. Students have the ability to pause and play at any point and are given chances to test their knowledge as the lessons progress. Each video is accompanied by a note package that follows the video, and students are able to take notes accordingly. All practice questions are provided for the students online, that means there is no required textbook for the course! Not only are practice questions provided, some are also solved by a teacher at the end of each lesson. This means students can fully understand the steps to solving some of the more difficult concepts in Math 12. Some lessons also include dynamic graphs and other applets which allow students to explore the concepts more deeply.
The only required resource is that students purchase a TI-83 or 84 Graphing Calculator.
