Planning 10 is a required course in Grade 10 and is part of the new Grad Program. As you plan a future that will honour your Lord and Master, you will need to understand and develop the skills necessary to be a self-directed individual. In this online course, you are on a mission to set goals, make thoughtful decisions and take responsibility for pursuing plans that will "give you a future and a hope".
By the end of the course, you will also have started an e-portfolio to showcase YOU!!
The course will have four Units:
Unit 1The Graduation Program- includes an overview of the Grad Program and introduces Grad Transitions 12 and the Graduation Portfolio.
Unit 2 Education & Careers - Personal Interests and Attributes, Post Secondary Education and Training, Labour Market Information, Job Seeking and Job Keeping, Employment Standards and Workplace Safety, and Support Networks and Resources
Unit 3 Health - Healthy Living & Health Information
Unit 4 Finances - Financial Literacy,Costs Of Education and Career Options, Financial Planning, and Transition from High School Plans
This course provides many information links for optional independent research.
