Applications of Math 10

Description:
The Applications of Mathematics 10 Course is an introductory course designed to present mathematics as a relative and essential tool for every day life. The approaches used in this program stream are primarily data driven, using numerical and geometrical problem-solving techniques.

Course Content Includes:

Number Concepts ? data and table interpretation and problem solving, number systems, irrational numbers.

1. Patterns and Relations ? arithmetic and geometric growth, functions, relations, arithmetic sequences,
2. Shape and Space ? volume, surface area, right triangles, sine and cosine laws, coordinate geometry, tools used for measurement.
3. Statistics and Probability ? sampling techniques and inferences, decision-making problems
